In addition to a thriving direct marketing division that services more than 90 countries, the company operates stores throughout the U.S. and Canada as well as international franchise locations in the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Mexico, Turkey, the Philippines, etc.

Working directly with European ateliers and factories, Crate and Barrel was among the first to introduce affordable household goods and contemporary home décor to American consumers. Founded in 1962, the brand's essence has translated perfectly to the omnichannel era more than 50 years after opening its first store. The Crate and Barrel family of brands, which includes CB2 and The Land of Nod, is owned by Otto Group, a global retail and services group based in Hamburg, Germany.

Our team considered the large SKU base where some products were available for both Store Pickup as well as Home Delivery and Pre-Order, also made it possible to effectively distinguish such products. Peculiarities of delivery logic were efficiently implemented via Shopify Scripts and Zapiet app - industry-leading store pickup and local delivery solution for Shopify.

We built UI/UX that represents a minimalist

UI/UX that represents a minimalist lifestyle and a website that is easy to navigate and addresses customer behaviour changes as well as customers needs in a variety of goods and services.
We made sure the user journey was well crafted both on desktop and more importantly on mobile. With a wide range of products and categories, users have a guided journey when browsing through the site, hence the tiered mega-menu with visual cues and a very-well structured category representation. Throughout the site we've managed to implement a subtle and seamless communication of different kinds of services that Crate & Barrel provides to their customers. With flexible rules for products output in Recommendations sections C&B team can easily highlight what's needed and offer the right product to a customer.

We helped to expand online presence

We helped to expand online presence in other Southeast Asian markets besides the Singapore store that was briefed originally by developing two scalable and efficient templates for regional and portfolio growth. As a result we built 4 stores in total for Singapore and Malaysia for C&B and the sister brand - CB2, providing a hassle-free experience for customers considering the product range, prices, taxes, delivery options differ from country to country.
