Max / Barkers
Two NZ fashion brands under one parent. Two new Adobe Commerce stores built from scratch with shared On Tempo ERP integration, custom bundle builder, and store-locator backed by real-time in-store stock.
Barkers has been in the NZ men's fashion market since 1972. Max is the women's sister brand. Both were on different outdated platforms before the rebuild.
Two brands on two outdated platforms
Both stores were running on legacy stacks that didn't share product, didn't share customer data, and didn't talk to the in-store loyalty system.
Stock, loyalty, and orders, one integration
Multi-level integration to On Tempo — direct with Adobe Commerce, pass-through to loyalty and Klaviyo. Loyalty now includes offline purchases against the right customer record.
Bundles that the core platform doesn't ship
Adobe Commerce out-of-the-box can't do customer-built bundles spanning simple and configurable products. Built it. Customer composes, the system calculates bundle savings live.
Merchandising power without dev tickets
Reworked the category architecture so layouts can be swapped per category from a pool of designs. Marketing can re-skin a category without a developer.
Find the store + the stock in one search
Adobe's store locator extended and wired to the ERP. Customers can find the closest store AND confirm a specific product is in stock there — AJAX'd for speed.
Physical and digital, themed for occasions
Extended Adobe Gift Cards with a manageable design pool — birthday, anniversary, themed holidays — so the card matches the moment. Designs swap from admin.
